Affording Indigo Montessori

Indigo Montessori is committed to equity and inclusion. We offer flexible tuition because we believe educational opportunities should be available to all families in our community regardless of financial means. To ensure socio-economic diversity at Indigo Montessori, we reserve spots for children of all income levels. We want to work with your family to make our school accessible.

What is flexible tuition?

Flexible tuition is a sliding scale tuition model that is designed to meet each family’s unique financial situation. Instead of a one-size-fits-all tuition rate, families will pay what they can afford. Flexible tuition is different than tuition assistance or a scholarship program as it allows us to value a socio-economically diverse learning community and to recognize that families may experience extenuating circumstances that are not reflected within a traditional income-based tuition or scholarship model.

Rates

Families pay anywhere from 0% to 14% of their annual income. Tuition is based on household income, family size, and extenuating circumstances such as debt, elder care, additional financial support from extended family members, childcare expenses, child support, and alimony. Siblings receive a 40-60% discount. We offer the following table as a guide, although Indigo Montessori works to meet each family’s unique financial situation. Please reach out to discuss your family's individualized tuition.
