Affording Indigo Montessori

Tuition

Indigo is invested in not only providing top-tier education, but also creating a socioeconomically diverse student body. In order to ensure this diversity, we offer flexible tuition, reserving spots at each socioeconomic level, because we believe educational opportunities should be available to all families in our community regardless of financial means.

Our tuition model not only asks all families to commit to the principle of accessibility, but also acts as a meaningful form of wealth pooling and redistribution within the microcosm of the school. We work with families to receive financial support (through the Maryland Boost Scholarship as well as through the Indigo Equity Fund) to meet each family’s unique financial situation.

Rates

  • Although Indigo Montessori costs $25,000 per year, we work with your family to create an accessible tuition. If you would like to know what your family would pay at Indigo with financial support, please use the Expected Tuition Calculator below.

  • Tuition is based on household income, family size, and extenuating circumstances such as debt or savings, elder or childcare expenses, generational wealth, child support, and alimony.

Indigo Montessori truly works to meet each family’s unique financial situation.
